For a period in my life, I was very attracted to religion because it seemed to offer the answers to the important questions: why are we here; what are we suppose to be doing; and what happens after we die? Light is life – Without light, there would be no photosynthesis and therefore no oxygen. Without oxygen, life as we know it would not exist. Not I, nor you, nor anyone else. Can you imagine that? Plants use sunlight to make food, other creatures eat plants, and we eat them both! All life is one. Light is the bond that connects all living things, great and small. (more…)
The Creationism vs. Evolution debate is a waste of time. Whose side am I on, you ask? Neither. I side only with Truth, and there is no Truth to be gained in this war. Just a lot of intelligent people on both sides wasting time and energy that could be spent doing something more profound and significant like finding the cure for cancer or new insights into their faith.
